Two blocks won and a win overall by just 1 point 67-66. On a tense final end we were 3 shots up, the block skipped by K Clarke lost by 2 shots, so an eventful match resulted in a 10-4 win for us.

And finally special thanks also to David Lowe our reserve player for keeping the score board up to date during the whole match.

On a warm sunny evening we had a friendly game with a very good team from Heartsease St. Francis.  Only one block won so hence 2 - 12 points

At Costessey Bush Pub we had 2 winning blocks and 2 losing blocks. We lost the overall shots so 4 points only. Not bad for a very tricky green. Afterwards we adjourned to the pub for a drink and sandwiches.

Our first game was on a warm sunny evening just right for bowls. We didn’t start too bad for the first few ends but it slowly went down hill from there. By home advantage the Crown players were able to pull away and we lost 0 - 14. After a challenging game we retired to the pub for sandwiches a drink and a mardle.
